May 29, 2024Hi Friends π,
Welcome To aHoisting!
To add floating text in react js, you can use transform: translate(-50%, -50%) translateY(0);
. It will add floating text in react js.
Today, I am going to show you, how to add floating text in react js.
Table of contents
- Install and create a new React app.
- Import react component.
- Create a Component.
Letβs start with the first step.
Step 1: Install and create a new React app.
First you have to install the React project. You should use create-react-app
command to create a new React project.
npx create-react-app my-app
cd my-app
npm start
Step 2: Import react component.
After installing, you have to import your React component. To do this, add the following line to the top of your component file.
import React from 'react';
import FloatingText from './FloatingText';
import './FloatingText.css';
Step 3: Create a Component.
You can use <FloatingText text="Floating Text Example" />
to add floating text in react js.
<FloatingText text="Floating Text Example" />
Define the add floating text example.
The below code is an example of a React. You have to import ./FloatingText
and use @keyframes float
to add floating text in react js.
App.js
import React from 'react';
import FloatingText from './FloatingText';
function App() {
return (
<div className="App">
<FloatingText text="Floating Text Example" />
</div>
);
}
export default App;
./FloatingText.js
import React from 'react';
import './FloatingText.css';
const FloatingText = ({ text }) => {
return <div className="floating-text">{text}</div>;
};
export default FloatingText;
'./FloatingText.css'
.floating-text {
position: absolute;
top: 50%;
left: 50%;
transform: translate(-50%, -50%);
font-size: 2rem;
font-weight: bold;
color: #000;
animation: float 3s ease-in-out infinite;
}
@keyframes float {
0%, 100% {
transform: translate(-50%, -50%) translateY(0);
}
50% {
transform: translate(-50%, -50%) translateY(-20px);
}
}
In the above code example, I have used the <FloatingText/>
and add floating text in react js.
Check the output of the above code example.
All the best π
